It’s been nearly 4 months since I last posted. Gwynn is the only one complaining so we updated it for her. Back in June Lisa and I made a trip back to Vegas for a weapons school grad. It was good to see old friends and our old house. In July, the kids had two weeks of swim lessons. Bryce is quite a swimmer and Zoe is a great water swallower/yeller/floater. We’ve been able to make two trips to OKC to see the grandparents and the last time to catch my nephew Gage’s birthday. We also went to the OKC bombing memorial. And we spent the 4th of July in OKC. Rednecks REALLY love firecrackers. I have a new hobby… I paint buckets and put them on sticks. It’s great. We’ll be on our way to Ohio soon and Lisa and I will continue on to Belize. We don’t know why we’re going to Belize or what we’ll do there… we’re just going. I had to get rid of my damn dog. Nobody here really liked her except for me and she was chewing up our house. I’ll miss her but I know we sent her to a good home. Anyway, between work, concrete and buckets I didn’t have a lot of time to hang out with her. Lisa wanted me to hang out with her and the kids instead. Mom’s house is coming along slowly. Hit a couple of snags there. My promotion board for Major was this week. We’ll get the results in Dec but it’s pretty much an automatic kinda thing. We actually had rain here. Now everything is green. Weird. Bryce started Pre-K and he’s digging being in school. We aren’t happy with the curriculum which is basically recess. At home, he is doing double digit math and some reading. Zoe repeats EVERYTHING she hears. A couple of days ago we were siting at the dinner table and she started counting to ten… in Spanish. She’ll be 2 in a couple of months. Zoe is still a Tazmanian Devil.
