Fisrt Quarter Report

We’ve been in Texas about three months now and things are going well. We are still amazed at how nice most people are here in the TX hill country. I am in training for the new job and taking a class so I’m pretty busy lately. Lisa spends a lot of time with the kids and now she is crazy. We’re having a bunch of construction going on behind the house and we’re pretty tired of it. We’re looking forward to the end of it because the contractors are making Lisa crazier. We had a building put up behind the house. It is huge and a bit of an eyesore (I think our neighbors hate it). Oh well. We had to have a place to store the boat Bryce bought (which he shares with us) and it’ll give us a place to keep my mother-in-law when she visits in April. Lisa re-enlisted with the TX Air National Guard. She’ll retire in two years (I’m really looking forward to that!) We’ve been able to spend a lot of time with family and friends here. You can see Coopy (my first roomate in ’91) in the pictures holding Bryce and being a good influence on him. We got a new puppy Bryce named Sierra. She is a Mastiff and should get up to about 130 lbs. She is currently house training and chewing things up… making Lisa crazier still. Zoe is walking and saying a few things now (bottle, B-yce, da da, ma ma, ga ga, pup). Bryce still misses his friends in Las Vegas (as do we) but he’s having a good time here and has really enjoyed being around family.
