This weekend Lisa got her first new car ever. We drove out to Flagstaff AZ in the supercab pickup with 2 kids and a dog (which necessitated our seats being pushed up against the dash). We decided to buy from a family friend there, Alan Chan of Babbitt Ford. Alan got us a great deal. BTW, if you haven’t looked into the Ford Family Plan Pricing it is a great deal – we saved almost 30% off the MSRP. The most significant part of the trip though, was that my godfather, Gibby, drove up on the spur of the moment to eat dinner with us at Linda’s house. Alan gave us a great deal and then cooked us dinner. I’m sure I wouldn’t have received that kind of treatment here in Vegas. We are now like everyone else out there on the American highways – traveling comfortably and sucking up gas. At least now Lisa will have a couple of extra seats to transport visitors while I am gone.
